Hi, I’m Alice, and I’m a court reporting student in Southern California. I grew up around computers, so I’m pretty good with them. I figured since I get asked lots of questions about Eclipse, I’d start this blog as a sort of repository of random Eclipse tips, tricks, and questions and answers.

If you have questions that have not been answered, feel free to leave a comment on this blog, ask on Twitter, or send an e-mail.  My gmail account name is alicetchang. (Trying to keep it spam-free by not actually posting the link.) If you are under any sort of deadline, you are probably better off calling Eclipse tech support.

just stumbled on your site. keep up the good work and good luck in your studies. WRT adding or modifying a blank, it should be Control a vice Shift a as you said.

    • Thanks, Dave! I did pass the test and am working as a reporter now. :)
I believe shift A is correct for modifying an existing blank (as in bringing up the Add Blank menu as opposed to filling a field.) but perhaps I should clarify that in the post. Thanks for the feedback!
